WORLD:  Get Caught With Your Pants Down? Michael Berry Says, “Blame the Media!”

Updated: 02/22 10:18

Since Michael was at T.C.s on Drag Night, I thought a commemerative illustration was in order.

How do you explain video of yourself inside a gay bar, when you are a noted right-wing homophobe who happens to be married to a woman?

The answer appears to be: you don’t. You go on a jihad against the dirty librul media, and hope that it’s going to be enough to distract your worshipers. And it’s probably a winning strategy, because you have a pretty good idea of how smart your audience is. They’ll be parroting you in no time at all.

Houston radio host Michael Berry spoke out against allegations that he was involved in ahit-and-run accident outside of a gay night club, slamming the media and saying he has been treated like “a member of Al Qaeda.”

Berry opened his KTRH radio show about the topic this morning and said the allegations against him were overblown and inaccurate. He said  KPRC Local 2 reported the story last Wednesday to help boost its ratings during sweeps week.

“Was it a cover up?” Berry questioned. “No, it was a smear campaign. Channel 2, I’ve got my sights on you… You can smear my name without me but I’m not going down without a fight.”

Berry, who served as a city council member in Houston, was accused last week of allegedly being involved in a hit-and-run outside of a gay night club on Jan. 31. Berry has not been charged in the incident.

He did not go into specifics about the allegations on his morning show, because he said it’s a potential legal proceeding.  He said he has cooperated with police.

Berry declined to comment about the incident with the Chronicle and several other news organizations.

During his radio show, Berry accused media outlets of using unnamed sources to soil his name. The Chronicle reported on Friday that a police source familiar with the investigation said the Houston Police Chief Charles McClelland is expected to order an internal affairs inquiry into the incident.

The source did not want to be identified because the source wasn’t authorized to speak about the matter.

Berry said police felt pressure to probe the case further because of the media reports, and there was a “determination to send him to jail.”  Several media outlets  reported on a video that showed Berry in the gay bar the night of the incident, but Berry said the video only proves he drank a beer and used the restroom.

It didn’t prove that he committed a crime, he said.

Berry railed on the media and defended himself against gay activist groups who called into his program to criticize him. Berry said he has never spoken ill of gay people on his program and has instead spoken out against other conservative talk show hosts that make homophobic comments.

Mr. Berry may not have said unkind things about gay Americans on his radio program (and I don’t know; I don’t get his radio program here, and I doubt I’d listen if I did,) but he might as well get right off the “I never said nuthin’ bad about homos” meme he’s on now. His Twitter account was loaded down with all of that ill that he’s never spoken on the radio. Thankfully, it doesn’t matter that he deleted his account: the Texas Observer grabbed some of thosethings he’s never said before he had a chance to get rid of his Twitter account.

Berry peddles the usual fear and loathing of liberals, immigrants, minorities, et al. on his three-hour talk show on KTRH and KPRC. He got national attention in 2010 when he said, regarding a mosque near “Ground Zero,” “I hope the mosque isn’t built, and if it is, I hope it’s blown up, and I mean that.”

But he’s also more than your average hatemonger. He’s a notable local figure, a three-term former city councilmember who ran for mayor in 2003 and has a JD from the University of Texas School of Law.

You wouldn’t know it to listen to his show, though. Full of racist and xenophobic tweets, his Twitter account @MichaelBerrySho also indicates that Berry has an active imagination when it comes to homosexuality:

Feb. 5: What Elton John is doing backstage right now would get him beheaded in Saudi Arabia unless the king joined in. #superbowl

Feb. 5: Eli Manning gets sacked more than Barney Frank’s interns

Feb. 3: I’m dying to know when Queen will endorse Mittens, since Adam Lambert has a mancrush on Mr Taxachoosits.

Berry is now the featured “winner” on gayhomophobe.com, which tracks anti-gay public figures who are caught in compromising circumstances.

And it should not go unnoticed by you that Mr. Berry tried to change the entire discussion by saying that he didn’t “commit a crime.” Uh, there is still the little matter of what a homophobic married man was doing at T.C.’s Show Club IN THE FIRST PLACE, isn’t there? Why, if Mr. Berry has nothing to hide, doesn’t he tell his audience what he was doing in there, drinking a beer, on Drag Night?

Mr. Berry has joined Mr. Craig, Mr. Foley, and Ms. Palin in the “Martyred Uhmuhrican Hero Victims” club. Like the aforementioned people, it appears that Mr. Berry has never been wrong, never done wrong, and wouldn’t know wrong if he drove his car into it.

“Personal responsibility” is as alien to these wingers as marital fidelity is.

WORLD:  Bob Morris, Indiana “Values” Rushpubliscum, Reveals the Truth About Girl Scouts

Updated: 02/21 10:13

Thank goodness there are still righteous UHMURICUNS out there, watching over our children and protecting them from the HOMASEXUL agenda.

I’d like to introduce you to one of those by-God Uhmuhricuns right now.

Meet Bob Morris, Rushpubliscum state legislator from the Fort Wayne area of Indiana. Before I read Bob’s findings, I had no idea; hell, both of my daughters are MEMBERS of this horrible organization.

I will soon change that, of course. Now that Bob Morris has enlightened me. But really, how was I to know that the Girl Scouts of America was a Sapphic organization that sells cookies to finance abortion drives?

I will feel damned guilty when my shipment of cookies comes in. Every box sold finances the termination of another fetus.

An Indiana lawmaker won’t support a resolution celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts because he believes it is a “radicalized organization” that supports abortion and promotes homosexuality.

Rep. Bob Morris of Fort Wayne has sent a letter to fellow Indiana House Republicans explaining why he opposes the nonbinding resolution.

The Journal Gazette reported Monday (http://bit.ly/wkGLqP) that Morris said he found online allegations that the Girl Scouts are a tactical arm of Planned Parenthood, encourage sex and allow transgender females to join. He also wrote that the fact that first lady Michelle Obama is honorary president should give lawmakers pause before they endorse the Girl Scouts.

Ah, HA! Michelle Obama is behind it ALL! Well that right there is more than enough for me, and it ought to be for YOU, too!

I sometimes feel cheated, having had parents who weren’t close relatives. If my mom and dad had been brother and sister, maybe I would have been raised right, and known when I was dealing with a bunch of dirty abortionists out to promote the HOMASEXUL agenda and turn my daughters into flannel-wearing monster truck drivers.

But I am what I am, so I am deeply grateful that Bob Morris is out there, educating me and everyone else with a background of mongrelized DNA.

WORLD:  Even Kashitch Can Be Right

Updated: 02/20 13:54

As you know, I haven’t hesitated to knock Czar Kashitch I, and my opinion of him remains much lower than his approval ratings. But even a clown like the Czar can have a good idea every now and then, and this is a good idea.

In this information age we live in, for many people trying to find a job, it seems that every potential employer is that breathtakingly stupid pregnant woman from the beenverified.com ads, shaking her finger and telling them “nobody does a THING around here without a background check!”

Well, you know…. a murderer is one thing, and a drunk driver is quite another-but here in Ohio, a conviction for either can leave you out of luck when it comes to employment. That’s why I approve of the Czar’s efforts to ease the burdenon way too many decent people who may have had a drink too many one night, or did one stupid thing decades ago.

The feared question that trips up one in six Ohioans — “Have you ever been convicted of a crime?” — will soon disappear from state job applications.

Gov. John Kasich’s administration is working with private organizations to help knock down barriers created for past offenders by 800 sanctions attached to scores of laws. The state still will conduct criminal-background checks on job applicants, but only after initial screening based on qualifications.

The consequences of “collateral sanctions” are widespread: 1.9 million Ohioans have a crime on their record that is a barrier to employment after they’ve served their sentence.

Jose Torres and Jason Smoot, two Columbus men with records, hit that wall. Hard.

Torres, 35, a native of Colombia, can’t get a good job even though he has a degree in economics and extensive experience in the restaurant business and as a language interpreter. Smoot, 24, is blocked from getting a job even with his family’s business, Smoot Construction.

“You can’t get your license, you can’t get a job, you can’t get a place to live,” Smoot said. “I’m basically put in the system to fail.”

Kasich said that although he isn’t “cavalier about people who’ve broken the law … for people who’ve paid their debt and rehabilitated themselves, we want to give them a chance.”

The governor added: “We have rules that are overly punitive. That’s just not right.”

For example, someone with a criminal record generally can’t be a teacher, get a barber or cosmetology license, become a plumber, work in a casino or be a security guard at a cemetery. Often, they can’t even drive to a job interview because their license is suspended.

On top of that, they often owe thousands of dollars in restitution and probation, reinstatement and other fees when they walk out of prison.

The very best thing about the America that was, was that you could, after a period of time, regain the respect you might have pissed away in your youth. Every one of us has done something criminally stupid, even if every one of us didn’t get caught (and for the purposes of disclosure, I am the recipient of a DWI, well over 20 years ago.) There is absolutely no reason that a person should spend a lifetime in desperate misery for something he or she did as a not-too-bright youth. There are some offenses that can never be overlooked, of course, but we have to weigh the potential for harm on an offense-by-offense basis.

I’m not sure why this Governor actually cares about this. Could it be because so many of his pals already have been, or are sure to face, a felony conviction? Eh….. I shouldn’t be such a cynic.

WORLD:  DeWino Jumps Off the Deep End

Updated: 02/18 11:33

Ohio got rid of this moron, who always sounds like he’s had a few too many, back in 2006, when he was tossed out of the Senate on his ass and replaced by the far-better Sherrod Brown. He’s a career politician who never held a legitimate job in his life. And, like so many other Rushpubliscum politicians, he can’t do simple math; he was one of the biggest check kiters caught up in the House Bank overdraft scandal.

Given his history as a Washington insider (not to mention an idiot,) it is perfectly understandable that the Klanbaggers rushed to get behind him in 2010 and get him elected Attorney General. Because, you know, electing a corrupt, lifetime politician moron like DeWino “sent a message to Washington.” I expected a lot of ignorance from this clown when he got past the ignorant Rushpubliscum voters yet AGAIN, and he’s not disappointing me.

Not even a little bit.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has had a change of heart.

The prominent Buckeye State Republican threw his support behind presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Friday afternoon, switching his allegiance from Mitt Romney to the former Pennsylvania senator.

“To be elected President, you have to do more than tear down your opponents,” DeWine said in a statement.  ”You have to give the American people a reason to vote for you — a reason to hope — a reason to believe that under your leadership, America will be better.  Rick Santorum has done that.  Sadly, Governor Romney has not.”

DeWine made the official the announcement on Friday in front of the Ohio State House in Columbus. There he candidly admitted he “was wrong” to have endorsed Mitt Romney four months ago and he was even more candid about why.

According to DeWine, Romney has shown an “astounding inability to provide voters with a rationale to support him.”

As for Santorum, “People like him — he’s human!” DeWine said.

Yeah, they sure do, Mike. Especially after they become familiar with his message. If Rapture Rick had been blessed with the cash Willard has had to spread his message, by now he’d be polling in the single digits.

Sentient beings among us know this. But Mike DeWino is far from being a sentient being. He’s actually got a lot more in common with Willard than he does just about anyone else: neither of them has a frigging clue as to what life in the real world is like.

And it shows, doesn’t it?

The DeWino clan has been a disaster for Ohio that never ends. Now, it looks like Mike wants to take the DeWino family insanity to a national level.

Ohioans don’t seem to be smart enough to reject the DeWino insanity, but I’m betting the rest of America will.

WORLD:  Next On the Rushpubliscum Agenda: Repeal of the 19th Amendment

Updated: 02/17 10:07

Rushpubliscums have often expressed their hatred for the 14th Amendment, and Klanbagger Governors have crafted laws to combat “voter fraud” that basically ignores the 14th Amendment’s granting of voting rights to minorities. And we all know why, of course: minority voters caught on to who and what the Rushpubliscums are awhile ago. If you let too many of THOSE people vote, there is no way a Rushpubliscum majority can survive in large parts of the country. And nationally? Forget it.

The thing is….. getting rid of the 14th Amendment might not be enough for the Rushpubliscums now. Not after their jihad on women. I will say this much for them, however: at least their jihad on women hasn’t been race-defined. They just plain hate women. ALL of them.

Looks like those Klanbaggers will have to reconvene and write some new “voter fraud” laws to deal with the women, too.

This survey sees a collapse of the Republican brand at almost all levels. Negatives associated with the Republican Party have not been this high since right after they lost the country in 2008. Their presumptive nominee flirts with a 50 percent negative rating and may now represent a big drag on the national party.

President Obama nears the 50 percent mark and is now just four points away from what he achieved in 2008. Democrats have newly consolidated the progressive voters of the Rising American Electorate who were responsible for Democratic victories in 2006 and 2008. These voters—unmarried women, young voters, and minorities—dropped off in 2010 and lagged throughout 2011. They have returned in a big way for Democrats, led by aresurgence and re-engagement of unmarried women. Only young voters have not been re-consolidated, which is either a problem or an opportunity.

Seniors, who abandoned Democrats in 2010, have come back two surveys in a row and suburban swing voters watch the Republican primary debate with growing alienation from the Republican Party. The tax issue, a presumptive Republican advantage, has moved dramatically in favor of the Democrats.

These results may not simply be the result of a spot of good economic news and rough news cycles for Republican nominees, but the beginning of long-term structural changes that will characterize the 2012 election cycle.

Recent controversies over Planned Parenthood and contraception will not revive the Republican’s standing, indeed, the opposite may be true, as this survey shows voters disagree with them on principle and wonder why at a time of great economic distress, Republicans are consumed with denying birth control coverage for women.

This survey provides fair warning to the Republican Party that they may be losing the country.

  • The Republican brand is in a state of collapse – over 50 percent of voters give the Republican Party a cool, negative rating. The presidential race and the congressional battles are interacting with each other to drive down their lead candidate, the party, and perceptions of the congressional Republicans.
  • Romney may be on the edge of political death. The shift against him is one of the biggest in the polls and he now competes with Republicans in Congress for unpopularity. In the summer of 1996, Bob Dole essentially was disqualified in voters’ eyes and never really recovered his footing.
  • President Obama is now at the critical 50 percent mark on approval and is approaching 50 percent on the ballot. More people view him favorably than negatively, creating a different climate at the top where Obama is not that far from the 53 percent he took in 2008.
  • On the named Congressional ballot, Democrats continue to lead Republicans, with consolidated support among the coalition that brought them to power in 2006 and 2008. Importantly, they are now also performing equal to or better than their 2008 margins among seniors.
  • Importantly, Democrats have consolidated the new progressive voters of the Rising American Electorate who were responsible for Democratic victories in 2006 and 2008. These voters—unmarried women, young voters, and minorities—dropped off in 2010 and lagged throughout 2011. These voters have returned in a big way for Democrats, led by a resurgence and re-engagement of unmarried women.
  • A drop in negative feelings about the direction of the country and the economy are major and are shaping the mood going into 2012. While Democrats have not made gains on who voters trust on the economy, the climate is better.

These changes are big and could become fundamental to the still young election year. Two big issues may have shaped this period. One is taxes and the other is the debate over the church and contraception, which is discussed at length later.

The shifting debate on taxes is one of the biggest things that has happened here. On every other issue we track, voters’ minds have not changed on which party is better—except taxes—where we have seen a 10-point shift in favor of Democrats. The tax debate is shifting heavily against the Republicans.

The biggest problem with younger voters is, I think, that they are post Saint Ronnie. They’ve grown up watching Rushpubliscum destruction of their futures (and way too often, dem complacency while this went on,) and they are understandably jaded after the first 4 years of the Obama Administration. Somehow, they have to be made to understand that the 2012 election is not, and should not, be about the President (or the dems) per se-it has to be about the future. There is, I think, a remarkable chance here to start a liberal insurgency along the lines of the Klanbagger insurgency in the Rushpubliscum Party. If we take it.

But there’s no problem with the women. They get exactly what is happening here. And Issa’s little trick today is going to throw gasoline on what was already a pretty hot issue for women of all ages. The women are now seeing what I have been screaming about for years: the Rushpubliscum Party flat-out hates the perception of women as independent human beings. There was an article in TPM today that said that Issa and the Rushpubliscums “took us back to the 50s,” but I don’t think that the 1950s would be good enough for them. They intend to take the rights of women back to the 1650s, if they can.

I am absolutely stunned that people as wealthy as the Rushpubliscum backers are could be as stupid as they also obviously are. If we put a purified version of the Social Darwinism that they all seem to want into practice, there wouldn’t be one of them alive in a week.

WORLD:  MegaDUMB

Updated: 02/16 10:12

I’m really not sure what it is, but there seem to be quite a few metal heroes who have some screws way too loose.

Take Ted Nugent, for example. The Motor City Meekman literally pissed and shit all over himself to avoid being drafted for the Vietnam War-but he’s never had a problem with any other American kid being sent off to die in some right-winger’s Oedipal Crusade. And to top it off, The Nuge is a pedophile.

And, of course, there was Gene Simmons, who confessed he had a metal-boner for Guv Goodhair of Texas.

Alice Cooper and Sammy Hagar also fit into the loose screws category, although they don’t seem to be AS loose as Ted and Gene.

But none, to this date, has shown himself to be as far gone as Dave Mustaine apparently is. This is a real shame, because Mustaine has given us glimpses of near-brilliance in his lyrics.

I gotta tell you, though…. after reading this, I’m thinking he must have had help with his songwriting. A LOT of help.

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine’s not ready to cast his vote just yet.

”Contrary to how some people have interpreted my words, I have not endorsed any presidential candidate,” the rocker said in a release after earlier reports had him backing Republican Rick Santorum on Wednesday. “What I did say was that I hope to see a Republican in the White House. I’ve seen good qualities in all the candidates but by no means have made my choice yet. I respect the fact that Santorum took time off from his campaign to be with his sick daughter, but I never used the word ‘endorse.’”

In an earlier interview with MusicRadar.com, Mustaine had critical remarks for the rest of the Republican field.

“I was floored the other day to see that Mitt Romney’s five boys have a $100 million trust fund. Where does a guy make that much money? So there’s some questions there,” he said. “And watching Newt Gingrich, I was pretty excited for a while, but now he’s just gone back to being that person that everybody said he was – that angry little man. I still like him, but I don’t think I’d vote for him.”

He added that Santorum, who won caucuses in Colorado and Minnesota as well as the Missouri primary last week, “has some presidential qualities.”

”I’m hoping that if it does come down to it, we’ll see a Republican in the White House… and that it’s Rick Santorum,” Mustaine was quoted as saying.

You can’t be functional and wish to see Rapture Rick in the Oval Office. I am stating this flat-out, no qualifications. Dave Mustaine has dishonored his career and his reputation-or, at the very least, given us all reasons to wonder just what the hell happened to him.

If Rapture Rick is “Presidential,” I am the reincarnation of Elvis. I think I’ll go have me a peanut butter and fried banana sandwich right now, come to think of it…

WORLD:  Willard Kisses Off Childhood Home

Updated: 02/15 14:10

Anyone who wonders how it is that “Rapture Rick” Santorum leads Willard in his former home state of Michigan should wonder no longer. The Man From Mars proves, yet again, that though he says he grew up near Detroit, he could not tell you a damn thing about the place.

Everyone, including Klanbagger golden boy “Sultan” Rick Snyder, has been telling him to STFU about the BUSH (continued by Obama) bailout of the auto industry. And Willard, proving that he is both a fool and a tool, resolutely ignores this damn good advice, and goes on shooting off his mouth.

This clown will not win a national election. Get ready for Jebbo the Savior.

President Obama used the bailout of U.S. automakers to enrich union supporters, marring the industry’s recovery, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said Tuesday in an op-ed column in the Detroit News.

As part of Mr. Obama’s plan to save Chrysler Group LLC, the United Auto Workers’ trust fund received a 55 percent stake in the Auburn Hills, Mich.-based company while Chrysler’s secured creditors got “short shrift,” Mr. Romney wrote.

Mr. Romney, whose father, George, was president of the former American Motors Co. from 1954-62, also said the Obama Administration should sell government-owned shares of General Motors Co. and turn the profit over to taxpayers.

“The President tells us that without his intervention things in Detroit would be worse,” Mr. Romney wrote. “I believe that without his intervention things there would be better.”

That last sentence-stupidest single thing any Presidential candidate has said this year, and this has been a year of incredibly stupid statements.

I guess it’s a good thing that Willard had a rich daddy who was able to buy him through all the finest educational institutions, because he is obviously too Goddamned stupid to work in a Taco Bell.

WORLD:  FOX “News” Channels Cheney, Says Raped Armed Forces Women “Volunteered” to be Raped

Updated: 02/14 10:13

FOX “News” attracts the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to the American viewer, and as such, they are well-staffed with the absolute bottom rung of the punditry and “journalists.” Many, many times, FOX “News” has hit bottom. And just as many times, they’ve found a way to go even beneath the bottom that they, themselves, established, and then scraped.

But I seriously wonder if they’ll find a way to get underneath the depths that Liz Trotter has taken them to.

This has echoes of that famous Cheney answer, back when he was asked about all the American forces killed off for no reason under his watch. “They VOLUNTEERED!,” Cheney said, as if anyone “volunteers” to become a statistic so that a bunch of cowards can feel manly about themselves.

Liz has taken the Cheney mantra and extrapolated it to its (somewhat) logical conclusion, as you can see. H/T to the always informative and entertainingNew York Daily News.

Fox News contributor Liz Trotta has taken a provocative stance on reports detailing a spike in sex assault in the military.

“What did they expect?” she asked in an on-air discussion Sunday.

Trotta and Fox News anchor Eric Shawn were discussing recent news that the Pentagon is allowing women to serve closer to the front lines.

“And the sexual abuse report says that there has been, since 2006, a 64% increase in violent sexual assaults,” Trotta, an author and journalist, tells Shawn.

“Now, what did they expect? These people are in close contact, the whole airing of this issue has never been done by Congress, it’s strictly been a question of pressure from the feminists,” she said.

Trotta also said that the “feminists” wanted too much money to fund programs for sexual abuse victims. “You have this whole bureaucracy upon bureaucracy being built up with all kinds of levels of people to support women in the military who are now being raped too much,” she told Shawn.

Shawn responded by saying that perhaps women in the armed forces should be protected better. Trotta then shot back that the purpose of the military is “to defend and protect us, not the people who were fighting the war.”

Got that, bitches? Don’t expect any handholding just because you got your ass raped. You VOLUNTEERED to be there, brainwashed by them damn FEMINAZIS, and boys will be boys, dammit! You should EXPECT to get the slam, whether you want it or not!

And now, it’s MY turn to extrapolate.

Since Trotter says that the job of the Armed forces is “to defend and protect us, not the people who were fighting the war,” then by that “logic” NO crime against ANY member of the Armed Forces against ANY OTHER member of the Armed Forces should be investigated, correct? So all you grunts who have an officer that pushes too hard? You can take care of it. Are you tired of having to share living space with one of THOSE people? You know what to do.

I realize, as I type this, that FOX “News” will, eventually, find a way to get even more vile, and more stupid, than Liz Trotter managed to make them.

But they’ll have to work at it.

WORLD:  Klanservative Hatred Knows No Boundaries

Updated: 02/13 10:23

Some of us were saddened by the passing of Whitney Houston, by whatever means it may have come to be. Some of us cried. Some of us shook our heads, a bit surprised that she managed to stay alive as long as she did. And those reactions would certainly be understandable, if not necessarily kind.

The Klanbaggers, however, have a whole different take on the death of Whitney Houston.

Well…. it isn’t necessarily a different take, if you know the real motivations of the Klanservative Klanbagging Kochsuckers. But it’s still a sickening thing to see.

How is it that someone winds up with this much hate in his or her heart? Do they bleed bile when cut? As badly as I’ve despised some of the wingers, I certainly wouldn’t find their demise to be anything to crow about.

These things, I do not understand. Flawed as she may have been, she was a human being. Somebody’s mom, for Dog’s sake.

I don’t even know what to say about this any more. There’s a real sickness running rampant in the right wing; the Fox News comment thread on Whitney Houston’s death is yet another disgusting deluge of outright racism: Singer Whitney Houston Dies at 48 | Fox News.

There are almost 5000 comments posted in the thread — these are from the first few pages. Notice that the racist bastards deliberately misspell their slurs or insert random spaces, so they aren’t caught by word filters. And many of the worst comments have numerous “likes” from other commenters.

This is typical of the blk gene pool; it happens all the time. They cannot handle fame and fortune whether it’s derived from music, acting, sports or just plain entertainment. Too much fame and too much money at one time will ki ll ll you.

How many blk people have died from drugs including alcohol that have been in the sports and the entertainment industry or screwed up their married lives like Tiger Woods or worse, OJ Simpson !!!

This is the same disease that got Obama voted into the White House.

[…]

i don’t even consider them to be included in the human race let alone on a pedistal. the people that do are a bunch of loosers.

I suppose it’s time for a history lesson. As in, my personal history.

The guys I ran around with as a teenager. Let’s talk about them for a minute.

-One fell to his death from a waterfall, drunk.

-One was playing “quarters.” Choked to death on vomit. In a room full of people, an outcome I don’t understand to this day.

-One got his pain meds upped from Darvocet to Darvon. He didn’t, however, cut back on his drinking.

The common thread among these guys? Why, they were all white men. 2 of them left children behind. I find it hard to this day to get too chummy with anybody, such is the residual searing from that which I’ve witnessed.

But, you know, when I read this kind of shit, I think maybe my reluctance to do a whole lot of schmoozing isn’t a bad thing these days. I don’t tolerate this kind of bullshit well, and I know people who are probably speaking like this.

WORLD:  I Smiled. I Really Did

Updated: 02/12 14:47

As you know if you regularly read this rag, I have screamed, cried, and beat my head against the floor about some of the compromises the President has made with the lunatics of the Rushpubliscum Party. I said years ago that there was no way to compromise with these morons, and that if he took his case to the people, he would prevail more often than not.

Sometime in the last few months, he started listening, and I appreciate that. But, given the MSM’s fanned flames of the supposed “corner” that the President had painted himself into over the healthcare reform contraception rule, I was scared to death he’d capitulate, once again, even though a huge majority of us are completely in agreement with the policy.

And…. this time, he came up with absolutely perfect language to be inserted. The Jesusistanis would be able to opt-out if it offended their wittle feewings, and women who wanted birth control could still get it, even if they happened to be working for a Jesusistani wack job organization.

The Jesusistanis, of course, have just proven my point; there is no such thing as “compromise” with bully-morons. The only “compromise” they want to talk about is “we’ll do what I want, and you can agree with it.”

I like this. Let this be an issue in the 2012 election cycle. PLEASE.

President Barack Obama’s political shifting over contraception coverage has united conservative Republicans in protest even as they split over which GOP presidential hopeful should face him in the general election.

The candidates themselves, campaigning for votes in the Conservative Political Action Conference’s straw poll Saturday, competed to present themselves as most opposed to Obama’s health care law.

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney won the straw poll Saturday, followed by former senator Rick Santorum, former House speaker Newt Gingrich and Texas Rep. Ron Paul, who did not attend the annual conference of conservative activists.

On Friday, after three weeks of controversy that pitted the nation’s Catholic bishops against the White House, Obama revised his policy. Instead of requiring employers to cover contraception, the policy would now require insurance companies to provide free birth control coverage in separate agreements with workers who want it.

Conservatives scoffed.

“It’s an accounting trick — the employer still pays the insurance,” said Mike Gonzales of the Heritage Foundation. “Do [White House officials] think people are stupid?”

The controversy, several said, is a natural outgrowth of what they consider the overreach of Obama’s health care mandate.

“My problem is the coercion” in the broader overhaul, said Washington real estate agent Bruce Majors.

Many shrugged off Obama’s rewrite.

“It’s not like they said, ‘We were wrong,’” said Spencer Larson, an investment adviser from Moraga, Calif. “They said, ‘We can’t afford this politically.’”

“Nothing in health insurance is free,” agreed Cherylyn Harley LeBon, a lawyer. “The cost is going to be passed on” to employees of religious organizations and everyone else, she said.

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee, closed the three-day CPAC gathering Saturday with a conservative call to arms full of derision for Obama.

Palin did not endorse a presidential candidate. But she offered little comfort to Romney, who is imploring Republicans to rally around his candidacy so he can start focusing on Obama and November.

“I believe the competition has got to keep going,” Palin said to loud applause. “Competition strengthens us,” she said. “Competition will lead us to victory in 2012.”

Palin decried “the Washington of the permanent class,” where she said people arrive with good intentions and stay to enrich themselves and their cronies.

The whole debate over government health insurance has cost Obama plenty. His party lost the House majority in 2010 in part because of a backlash over the new law’s demands on private industry and individuals.

The resentments erupted anew after the administration announced Jan. 20 that religious-affiliated employers, except houses of worship, had to cover birth control for free as preventive care for women. These hospitals, schools and charities were given until August 2013 to comply.

Under the revision, women will still get guaranteed access to birth control without co-pays or premiums no matter where they work, a provision of Obama’s health care law that he insisted must remain. But religious universities and hospitals that see contraception as an unconscionable violation of their faith can refuse to cover it. Insurance companies will then have to step in to do so.

A Fox “News” poll released Friday showed a large majority, 61 percent, of Americans approve of requiring employer health plans to cover birth control for women. Thirty-four percent disapproved. The nationwide survey was conducted by telephone among 1,110 registered voters Feb. 6-9 and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points, the network said.

In a FOX “News” poll, 61% agreed with the policy. And the thirty-four percent, of course, will be Klanbaggers, who are far more likely to be sitting at home, ready to answer the land-line, because they’ve retired and sit near the phone. I do not believe, for a second, that 34% of Americans disagree with this rule.

But I hope the Rushpubliscums believe it. I hope they keep right on pandering to their Klanbaggers with MORE racism, MORE misogyny, and MORE fearmongering.

It’s good for my agenda, after all.
